And how did it play a role in my own weight-love journey? Today, I want to shed light on these questions and help you understand why hypnotherapy is such a powerful tool for change.

In its simplest terms, hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that uses hypnosis to create subconscious change in a person, in the form of new responses, thoughts, attitudes, behaviors, or feelings. It's a way of communicating with the powerful entity within us, our Subconscious Mind (SCM), and giving it new, beneficial instructions.

But does it work? The answer is a resounding yes. Hypnotherapy has been used successfully in various fields, from medicine to psychology, and of course, in weight management and self-love journeys, like my own.

I was once at war with my body. I'd look in the mirror and feel a pang of disappointment, frustration, even shame. I blamed menopause, age, and thought, "that's just how it is." But then I discovered hypnotherapy and everything changed.

I realized that much of what I was experiencing was in my control. I learned to communicate with my SCM, to reprogram the negative thoughts and beliefs I had about my body. I understood that our thoughts become things, and by changing my thoughts, I could change anything. I felt empowered and took charge of my health and well-being.

I learned to love my body, not in spite of its imperfections, but because of them. I stopped focusing on weight loss and started focusing on weight love. And you know what? My body responded. I began to lose weight naturally. I felt more energetic, more confident, more in tune with my body. But the most profound change was the peace I felt. The war was over. I was finally at peace with my body, and it was a feeling of freedom like I'd never known.
