The Magic of Essential Oils: Transform Your Mood and Your Health
Learn how essential oils can help you relax, sleep better, and boost your immune system

Essential oils have helped me and I use them with my clients all the time. I started out with a few basic ones and now I have a whole collection that I use for many purposes.

These concentrated compounds that carry the “essence” of the plant, including its aroma and therapeutic properties. In this article, we’ll explore some of the numerous benefits and how they can enhance your daily life.


Chill Out with Stress Relief:
Feeling stressed? We've all been there. Essential oils like lavender, bergamot, and ma chang can help you relax and unwind after a long day. Give them a try during meditation, yoga, or just when you're chilling at home.


Catch Those Zzz's:
Struggling to get some quality shut-eye? Essential oils to the rescue! Scents like lavender, valerian, and clary sage can help you catch those much-needed Zzz's. Try diffusing them in your bedroom or adding a few drops to your pillow for a restful night.

Kick Pain to the Curb:
Got a headache or some achy muscles? Essential oils like eucalyptus, lemongrass, copaiba, and rosemary can help with that. These oils have anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. Just remember to dilute them before massaging them into your skin or adding them to a warm bath.

Copaiba is similar to CBD and helps with pain and inflammation. Lemongrass recently helped me tremendously with frozen shoulder pain. It was one of the very few things that worked.

Boost Your Immunity:
Ward off pesky germs with essential oils like tea tree, lemon, and oregano. These oils have antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties that can support your immune system.

Mix lemon, peppermint, oregano and lavender if you feel like you’re fighting something. Use them in a rollerball or mix them into your cleaning products for a healthier home.

Goodbye Hot flashes:
Roll peppermint on the back of your neck when you feel a hot flash. Use clary sage on your feet and pulse points throughout the day.

Embrace Your Emotions:
Essential oils can do wonders for your emotional well-being. Citrus, jasmine, and rose scents can help lift your spirits, while earthy scents like sandalwood and frankincense can create a cozy, grounding atmosphere. Experiment with different oils to find the perfect match for your mood.

Misc:
  • Use lemon to remove sticker residue. If it’s for your skin, to remove bandages, use an oil to dilute it and it comes right off.  Something to note about the citrus oils is that you have to be careful with getting sun on the area where the oil was. It makes you more sensitive.
  • Peppermint can be used to freshen up your breath. Place a drop on the back of your hand and lick it. Also great if you have an upset stomach.
  • Cinnamon boosts your metabolism, so if you’re wanting to drop weight, have cinnamon on hand.
  • Always buy high quality and ethically sourced oils. There are a couple of well-known brands, I use DoTerra. I love the quality!
  • The Essential Life is an excellent book to guide you in all things essential oils
